Shopify apps, built to pass review and stay passing.

We publish and maintain our own apps on the Shopify App Store, so we build yours against the same standard — OAuth, mandatory webhooks, billing, performance and the review checklist.

Who this is for

Is this you?

  • Merchants who need behaviour Shopify does not offer and no store app provides
  • Software companies who want to reach merchants through the Shopify App Store
  • Brands on Shopify Plus needing checkout, delivery or payment customisation
  • Teams whose existing app was rejected in review, or broke after an API version change

Problems it removes

What this fixes.

  • A workflow that Shopify's admin cannot express and no app on the store covers
  • Discount, shipping or checkout logic that needs custom rules at cart or checkout
  • An app that fails App Store review and nobody can say exactly why
  • An app that broke when Shopify deprecated an API version
  • Merchant data that has to sync between Shopify and a system it was never built for

Capabilities

What we build.

Deliverables, not adjectives. Each of these is something you receive and own.

Public App Store apps

Embedded admin apps built to the review checklist: OAuth and token exchange, mandatory GDPR webhooks, billing, performance budgets and a listing that gets through.

Private and custom apps

Single-merchant apps for behaviour you do not want to publish, installed directly on your store.

Shopify Functions

Discount, delivery and payment customisation running natively at checkout — including tiered, volume and conditional pricing rules.

Theme app extensions

Storefront blocks merchants place themselves, with no theme code edits and no upgrade breakage.

Checkout extensibility

Checkout and customer-account UI extensions on Shopify Plus.

Integrations and sync

Shopify to ERP, PIM, WMS, CRM and accounting, with reconciliation and retries.

How we approach it

The order we do things in.

  1. Confirm it needs an appSometimes the answer is a Function, a theme extension or an existing app. We will say so before quoting a build.
  2. Design for review firstScopes, webhooks, billing and performance are decided at the start, because they are what review actually fails apps on.
  3. Build on a development storeReal installs, real data volumes, and the uninstall path tested rather than assumed.
  4. Submit and iterateWe handle the listing, the review round trips and the resubmission.
  5. Maintain across API versionsShopify deprecates API versions on a schedule. We track it so your app does not break on someone else's timetable.

Questions

Shopify Apps — the things people ask.

Have you actually published an app on the Shopify App Store?
Yes — we build and maintain our own apps on the App Store, not just client work. That means we have been through OAuth, mandatory webhooks, billing, the performance review and the listing process on our own account, and we know where review actually fails people.
Should this be a public app or a private one?
A private or custom app is right when the behaviour is specific to your store and you have no interest in selling it. A public app is right when other merchants have the same problem and you want a product. The engineering overlaps; the review, billing and support obligations do not, and those are most of the ongoing cost.
How long does App Store review take?
Expect two to six weeks including revisions, and plan for at least one round of feedback. Most delays come from things decided at the start — excessive scopes, missing mandatory webhooks, unclear billing, or performance on a real-sized store — which is why we settle those before writing features.
What happens when Shopify changes an API version?
Shopify releases quarterly and deprecates on a published schedule. Apps we maintain are moved onto supported versions ahead of the deadline. Apps that are not maintained eventually stop working — this is the single most common reason an app breaks.
Can you fix or take over an app someone else built?
Yes, and it is a common request — usually after a failed review or a version break. We start by auditing the scopes, webhooks, billing and API versions, then tell you whether it is a repair or a rebuild before you commit.
